One of the recent drama that I also recommend beside "The Four" is "Catch Me Now". This series actually released some times ago but I still consider it "new" in term of dramas. Just like the case with The 4, I stopped watching this drama after several episodes because I was tempted to start watching some other dramas. Over the weekend I picked up from where I left off which I believe was around episode 15 or so. I really enjoyed the series all through to the end and finished the remaining episodes in two days (Saturday and early Sunday). All the actors/actresses did a great job. Just like everyone else, I loved the great chemistry between thieves. The police force wasn't so bad either. And I had a major crush on Damien Lau's character, Jack Ko (who doesn't?) and Johnson Lee's BT. I still am.

<<<< major spoiler>>>> It was a devastating scene when BT died. everyone from the "thief" group was crushed. They all share a tight bond between them. As for the police force, we don't get to see  their emotional attachments as often as the thieves. One of my favorite scene was when Sharon Chan came into Johnson's room after his death and found all these pictures of them dating, getting married, and having tons of children along with a little note that said "I love Q" (who I assume is Sharon?) <<end>>

The loved note:

Pictures of them. Probably got photoshopped by Johnson since he is an expert in computer. It's clear that Johnson loved Sharon with all his heart.

Wedding

Having kids and getting old

Sharon and Koni at church after Johnson's death.
On a side note, Koni did a good job with her role. Is this her first series? I would love to see her more often in future series. As for the actress who played Nana from Joe Ma's police force, she also was ok in here. << I just googled and her name is Aimee Chan.

After being swept over by "My Girl", a Korean drama, I continued my non-TVB productions fever with "Hana Kimi" with Ella Chen, Wu Chun and Jiro Yang? (*edit: JiroWang). It took me exactly 2 scenes to get totally addictive to this series..
Ella Chan *edit: Ella Chen*, so far, gives off a promising performance. I was first exposed to her through girl band S.H.E  and through interviews, I feel that she has a very down to earth personality in real life and she seems like a very friendly person, plus her vocal is really strong. So I have always liked her.
One word..CUTE...lol...well, several more adjectives to describe him is that he is really handsome and he has such a boyish charm to him *loved* This is my first time watching him onscreen. I've seen him before in random MVs and clips of Tokyo Juliet but never actually watched him act before. So far, he's doing quite well. And I keep thinking in my head how cute he can be...lol....*crush alert* oh, I forgot to mention that he is member of boy group Fahrenheit along with Jiro. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe they have several duet with Ella's girl band S.H.E. One that comes to mind is "Only Have Feelings for You" with Fahrenheit and Hebe.
Jiro is as adorable as his "Ah Kin" in "It Started with a Kiss" and his characters are also quite similar to one another from the two series> You can't help loving his character, funny, cute and many more! and did I mention his great acting skills? Speaking of ISWAK, I finished watching it two weeks ago. Despite all the rave reviews, I didn't like it that much.

Back to Hana Kimi, I want to note a few more things: the supporting casts are excellent and as of now, I love all the characters in this series..eg: the gay doctor, the weird friends, the guy who ties his hair half back...and I think the list will go on as the series progresses.

This series brings a lot of laughs which I haven't found in any recent comedy series and I'm only on episode 6 or so>  I think I haven't mention a critial aspect in the series so here it is: Ella is a girl who disguises herself as guy in order to go to an all-boy school because she admires Wu Chun who is a high jumper. Here are some noteworthy scenes for me:

when Ella punches the guy who took photo of her and Wu Chun then posts it on the schoolboard, making it look like they're together. When Wu Chun comes to confront the guy and got mocked at, Ella marches in, forms her fist and knocks the guy off his chair. I was so excited that I yelled out "way to go Ella...haha...take that..." lol...

another one is when Jiro drinks the soda (or fruit) can of which Ella previously sipped from, then starts to get all these sort of feelings and slowly finds himself liking Ella. He's so hilarious because he gets mad and jealous when Ella receives a postcard from her friend who is a girl. He thought it was Ella's "girlfriend", and was so happy when Ella set the record straight that "she" is still single.

There are too many scenes that I like but the last one I want to share is when Wu Chun casually opens the bathroom door and Ella is taking a bath. He totally forgot that he has found out her identity and acts normally. Then he suddently remembers, starts to panic and looks embarassed, such a cute scene!...I think I found myself another addiction beside Hu Ge and Ariel *in love*

One thing I didn't expect is for Wu Chun to find out Ella's identity so soon. He accidently touches her chest while trying to lift her up (She faints during a competitive soccer game with Jiro). I thought she won't get exposed until later...(like Coffee Prince which I got to scan through seveal episodes.) But he has also mentioned to himself how easy it is for everyone to suspect Ella's true identity. They just don't think of the posibility of having a girl in an all-boys school. In othe words, they might have sensed Ella's weird but automatically brush off the fact that Ella could be a "girl". Another thing that I couldn't help but notice is how can they make Ella so flat chested?? which is of course, an excellent attempt at that because Ella is suppose to be a guy.

I know I haven't blog about Charmaine for months but I just want to say a quick congratulation to Charmaine for winning two awards at Astro: Favorite kiss with Raymond in DOL and Favorite character...Palace Scheme also changes its title to Beyond the Realm of Conscience, really cool name! and filming has already started. The costumes are beautiful, but the hair is just..really heavy and big. I promise to have more posts on Charmaine in upcoming updates.
