I wish everyone a belated "Merry Christmas" and a "Happy New Year" (in case I don't get a chance to do so). Above is the clip of Charmaine wishing everyone a Merry Christmas :) She looks real pretty so I took some captures, enjoy!
So I've been occupied myself on watching TVB classic series "The Greed of Man" and just want to conclude that this series truely deserves all the praises that it gets. It grabs my attention right from the start and keeps me watching until late several nights. It only took me around five days to finish the whole series and I must say I enjoyed it very much. Though honestly speaking, the last 8 or so episodes weren't as exciting as the beginning. But all in one, I recommend this series to everyone who is looking for a solid series with good actings. I noticed there is one child actor who played one of Damien Lau's daughter who look really familiar (on the right in the below picture). I'm pretty sure it's Leila Tong. She didn't change much, her features are still there. Michael Tao, Lawerence Ng (I'm 99% sure on this, but there's still that 1% of doubt in me. Take a look below and pick your take :) My sis said he doesn't look like Lawerence at all lol ), Derek Kwok (along with David Siu?) played Adam Cheng's sons. By the way, this is my first time seeing the actor who played Damien's son onscreen, I guess he only acted in series back in the olden days. I quite like him, very cute with Vivian (Chow?) and Amy Kwok. Though he pissed me off many times too.

<<< Spoilers: how he took Vivian's savings and bet it all on stocks. I felt so bad for her when he lost all of her lifetime savings in a matter of minutes. Later he won back the money plus more, but that's another story. >>> End of Spoilers

Anyway, my last comment: give this series a go. It's worth your time and money. By the way, I couldn't resist myself and continued with "Legend of the Condor Heroes 2008" last night, up to around episode 40 so 10 more ep. to go. I'm kind of sad that this series is almost over...~

_ New layout, Raymond and Charmaine in "The Drive of Life".

"When the Easterly Showers Fall on the Sunny West" has released all the episodes in Viet-dubbed  version. Hopefully I'd be able to pick up the whole series next week.

From an online friend, I got some information regarding "Greed of Man".

The actor below who I thought for sure was Lawerence Ng, is actually Lawrence's younger brother, Ng Kai Ming. And the child actor, no doubt, is Leila Tong. I also been informed that Damien Lau's son is played by Sean Lau, who in real life, is happily married to Amy Kwok, one of his love interest in "Greed of Man".

<< Major Spoilers: When I later found out he loved Vivian, I felt really sad for Amy as she had given up a lot of things for him. eg: made a promise to her father that she would never be with Sean and would stayed to take care of him forever if he promised her he would helped Sean and there are many more...But love is love, I could tell Sean's love for Vivian from the earlier part of the series. I do like him with Vivian as much as with Amy. The ending for the three of them was really sad. Amy's father died from a heart attack and her last scene was when she left Sean after realizing he indirectly caused her dad's death. And the last scene of the series showed Vivian leaning onto Sean's shoulder, sleeping and he was hugging her so peacefully. My interpretation is she died as she always said throughout the series that her family has a genetic heart disease and that they always died in their sleep...:( And then their song began to play in the background, Sean's part in English and Vivian's in Chinese>> End of Spoilers

I actually still remember the first two sentences from the song's lyric:

"Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu...."

A very sweet song which represents Sean and Vivian's love.

An MV of Ariel & Hu Ge to share, the lyric is pretty interesting and the song is very catchy. I would love to have this song so if anyone have it :)

Sorry for the lack of updates. School is already starting so I won't be able to update as often as I wish. For those who is looking for a good series to watch, I highly recommend "The Four". I picked up from where I left off and got hooked as the series progressed. Anyway, I gotta rush to class now, will update more stuffs some other times. In the mean time, enjoy 2 artworks of Julian & Charmaine. How I miss them so much!!! *sigh* still hoping for another collaboration from them.
